OpenApp User Guide

This guide explains how to use OpenApp and how the core concepts fit together.

If you’re a site owner setting up access control for the first time, start with Set up access control. The dashboard wizard creates the site, openers, doors, directory listings, people, and policies without the Organization resources tables.

For a linear developer first run (sign-in, API key, integration, device, test a door, HTTP API, SDK), see Getting started.

Settings

Section titled “Settings”

Open Settings from the user menu (your avatar). While you are in settings, the sidebar lists every settings page, grouped into Personal (appearance, account security, profile, privacy, API keys, connected assistants), Organization (billing, policies, webhooks, organization privacy, LAN agent), and More (Store and Organization resources, which open their own workspaces). The breadcrumb above each page shows where you are, and long pages list their sections under On this page. Back to app at the top of the sidebar, or the close button beside the page title, returns you to the page you opened settings from.
